After 7 months of hard work (and many writer's blocks), I'm proud to announce that I've completed UX Writing Hub's certification program. Thank you to Aaron Raizen and Yuval Keshtcher for their invaluable support and feedback as I learned this new trade. The course began with a bootcamp on writing for digital products, covering topics like the psychology of user experience, product design, user research, style guides, voice and tone, user journeys, content strategy, information architecture, and testing/iterating copy. Then we shifted from theory to application. I worked on two projects: a solo e-commerce project and a group project working to improve an app for an Israeli-based company. Can't wait to show my work; a new and improved portfolio coming soon... ✍🏼 Also, I taught myself Figma through trial and (much) error while working on assignments at this course. It's quite comical to look back now and see my early mock-ups compared to now. That's GROWTH for ya! Not only did I learn the mechanics of UX writing on a practical level, but I also learned a new way of thinking. Design thinking has shaped my writing practice AND how I approach life problems. I can't wait to see where this takes me. #uxwriting #contentdesign #personaldevelopment #userexperience #designthinking #productdesign
